A WOMAN has been charged with drink driving following a Easter Monday collision near Stokeinteignhead.

Police were called just before 9pm on Monday, April 6 following a single car collision on Teignmouth Road, which was blocked and closed in both directions for a time.

The car ended up on its side, with two occupants being checked over by paramedics.

The driver was taken to hospital to be checked over.

A woman, from Torquay, was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

She has been bailed to appear before Newton Abbot Magistrates’ Court on April 21.
