TWO weapons charges against a Dawlish youth were withdrawn at South and West Devon Magistrates' Court

The 16-year-old had been charged with possessing an offensive weapon, a hammer, at Teignmouth Station without lawful authority or reasonable excuse. This offence was withdrawn by the court which gave the reason that a conditional caution had been administered.

He had also been charged with having an offensive weapon, a hammer, at Teignmouth Station. This case was also withdrawn by the court.
