DRIVERS in Newton Abbot will face yet more disruption as work to replace traffic lights near Aldi is due to start soon.

Work to replace the existing traffic signals at the Torquay Road junction with Brunel Industrial Estate will begin at the end of January.

An engineers bay will first be created at the end of January to allow contractor to prepare for works, which is expected to begin shortly thereafter.

It is expected to take four weeks, though this is not an exact timeframe.

The work comes at a time when drivers in Newton Abbot already face disruption, namely the A382 closure.
