DO not let their name fool you, for Newton Abbot’s premier balloon arrangement business, Three Little Kiwis, has made a big difference for charity, raising more than £1,500 at a special fun-day.
With her two daughters, Tallulah-Kiwi and Autumn-Rayne, by her side, Three Little Kiwis owner, Kerry Philips, recently organised her third charity event, which took place at Newton Abbot’s recreational trust.
‘It was lovely seeing so many of the local community come together and have a wonderful day, very proud for making it happen’ Kerry said.
For their chosen charity, which was Macmillian, it is typical to host a coffee morning, but the trio decided to add their own twist, making it a fun-filled event for all.
‘The atmosphere of the day was lovely, it was a very busy day for everyone involved, and despite the odd showers of rain everyone still attended and had a fantastic time’ Kerry added.
There was a bouncy castle, games, stalls manned by local businesses, face painting, hair braiding and, of course, no event worthy of the name would be complete without food and drink, which there was plenty of.
Coffee and cake mostly, though there was much else besides.
