Teignmouth RNLI fundraising team would like to say thank you to all those of who donated to and helped boost the funds for the RNLI in Teignmouth in 2021
There has been a good start to 2022 too.
Adrian Knowles, Deputy Chair of the Teignmouth RNLI Fundraising Team, visited the Exeter Retirement Village where he was presented with a cheque for £721 from Pauline, who is on their committee.
Teignmouth’s own sea shanty singers, The Back Beach Boyz, performed at the Village on December 1 and have generously given their appearance money, together with a donation from the Village, to the RNLI in Teignmouth.
Steve of the Back Beach Boyz was present at the village to collect the donation.
Another fantastic gesture from the Back Beach Boyz and the residents of Exeter Retirement Village.
The Fundraising Team are currently working hard developing the programme of fundraising events for the 2022 season.
It costs £95,000 per year to support the Lifeboat and Crew and the Lifeguards in Teignmouth, so every donation to the RNLI is an essential contribution towards that.
If you would like to volunteer to help with fundraising for the RNLI in Teignmouth, please get in touch with Peter Hartley, chair of the fundraising team on 07831 278552 or Adrian Knowles on 07896 476684.
You can offer as much or as little time as you can spare to help the RNLI to Saves Live at Sea.
