READER Noreen Dharma Goodchild took this imposing photo of the ship Pelican of London arriving in Teignmouth last weekend.

After the stopover, where she was open to the public as part of the Shanty Festival,  she sailed on to Plymouth, although the trip wasn’t entirely uneventful. 

Leaving Teignmouth she struck a sandbar and had to be towed free before setting off on her voyage again.
