Teignbridge's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 minutes and half an hour.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

A30, from 7pm February 2 to 5am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Ide to Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.

And a further eight closures will begin over the next two weeks:

A38, from 8pm February 5 to 6am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Wobbly Wheel to Splatford lane closures for structure maintenance.

A38, from 9pm February 5 to 6am February 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Wobbly Wheel entry slip road closure for structure maintenance, diversion via Kennford entry slip road.

A30, from 7pm February 6 to 5am February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Fingle Glen lane closure for horticultural works.

A30, from 9pm February 6 to 6am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for structure maintenance, diversion via A30 to Alphington and return.

A30, from 8pm February 7 to 6am February 8, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed for resurfacing, diversion via A38 southbound to Kennford and return.

A30, from 7pm February 9 to 5am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Whiddon Down lane closure for horticultural works.

A38, from 8pm February 9 to 6am February 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31, lane closure for drainage works.

A30, from 7pm February 12 to 5am February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for horticultural works.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
