Teignbridge's motorists will have 17 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.
And one of them is expected to cause moderate delays – with drivers facing a wait of between 10 and 30 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that 17 closures are due to start over the next two weeks:
• A38, from 8pm March 11 to 6am March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Heatfield, lane closure installed by BT.
• A38, from 8pm March 11 to 5am March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe to Kennford lane closure for electrical works.
• A38, from 10am to 2pm on March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 both directions Dart Bridge to Dean Prior lane closures for surveys.
• A38, from 7pm March 12 to 6am March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 Both Directions Clay Lane to Drumbridges lane closures for horticultural works.
• A38, from 8pm March 13 to 6am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Kennford lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 8pm March 13 to 4am March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, between Buckfastleigh and Ashburton lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A38, from 8pm March 14 to 4am March 15, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe lane closure for barrier repairs.
• A30, from 8pm March 18 to 6am March 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A30 eastbound, Alphington to M5, junction 31 carriageway closed for electrical works, diversion via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3213 and A379 to M5 or A38. Reverse for M5 southbound, traffic for A38. Including M5 southbound, junction 31 exit slip road to A30 closed. Diversion via A38 to Wobbly Wheel and return to A30 exit.
• A38, from 7pm March 20 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Clay Lane to Drumbridges lane closure for drainage survey.
• A38, from 7pm March 20 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dart Bridge exit slip road closure for horticultural works, diversion via A38 eastbound to Peartree junction, Ashburton, and return.
• A30, from 7pm March 20 to 6am March 21, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, Whitestone lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree junction, Ashburton exit slip road closure for horticultural works, diversion via A38 eastbound to Linhay, junction and return.
• A38, from 8pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 31, lane closure for electrical works.
• A38, from 7pm March 22 to 6am April 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Dart Bridge to Peartree lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 7pm March 25 to 6am March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Harcombe lane closure for horticultural works.
• A38, from 8pm March 25 to 4am March 26, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Buckfastleigh - lane closure for structure maintenance works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
