FIREFIGHTERS from four Teignbridge stations joined forces for a training session.

Crews from Newton Abbot, Chagford and Bovey Tracey travelled to meet colleagues from Moretonhampstead Fire Station for breathing apparatus training.

The former Moretonhampstead hospital building complex provided the venue for firefighters to rescue a total of 12 casualties.

A spokesman for Newton Abbot fire station said: ‘We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Moretonhampstead fire station for hosting us, and arranging a worth while training session from which all of the crews greatly benefitted.’
