A BOVEY Tracey teenager who had a knife and destroyed an electric scooter has beengiven a suspended prison sentence.
William Hill-Sharpe, aged 19, of Fore Street, pleaded guilty to destroying the electric scooter worth £450 belonging to another person in Teignmouth on October 4 last year.
He was ordered to pay compensation of £450.
Hill-Sharpe also pleaded guilty to without good reason or lawful authority at the station.He was given a three month prison sentence, suspended for 24 months.
During the 24-month supervision period he must take part in a Thinking Skills Programme for 19 days. He must also carry out 200 hours of unpaid work.
South and West Devon Magistrates' Court ordered the knife to be forfeited and destroyed.
