FAMILIES looking for some Halloween fun are being encouraged to head to Stover Country Park for an evening of spooky activities and campfire treats.

The park will host a spooky family trail through the woods after dark, with arrival slots available between 6pm and 7.45pm on Friday, October 30.

Fancy dress is encouraged, although visitors are advised to dress appropriately for the autumn weather.

The self-led trail will take around an hour to complete, before families can warm up with hot chocolate around a campfire.

Tickets, available from Eventbrite, are required for everyone attending, including adults, while children under three can attend free without a ticket.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and visitors are asked to bring torches.
