A WILDLIFE expert came to the rescue when a young sparrow hawk took up residence in a Teignmouth business.
The bird was found at Garstone Stone Ornaments warehouse on The Quay at Teignmouth.

Wildlife rescuer Sally Beers stepped in to help with a sparrowhawk moved in to a Teignmouth quayside business (-)
Staff became concerned when the bird wouldn’t take food or water yet refused to leave even after four days living in the building.
Fortunately, local wildlife rescuer Sally Beers was on hand to relocate the bird to a rescue centre where it is doing well and will be released when it has regained its strength.
