Lori Reich, from Shute Farm, said: ‘It was a really successful market. We’ve got really loyal regular customers in Teignmouth. We’ve got a good mix of produce, a little bit of everything now.
‘My goal in life is to encourage people not to waste their left-over pumpkins and to make soup out of them, a little bit of candle smoke doesn’t matter. Just shove it in the oven, whir it in the blender and add some stock!’
