AN Ashburton man accused of stalking has been sent for trial.

Craig Stuart Hocking, aged 30, of Balland Park, is charged with conduct which amounted to the stalking of a woman. He is accused of using several different social media accounts to access the woman’s social media accounts and online accounts linked to her email and attempted to change her passwords in addition to ordering a Chinese takeaway that was delivered to her address.

He also faces two charges of making contact with the woman when he was prohibited by a restraining order imposed by Exeter Crown Court.

South and West Devon Magistrates' Court remanded him in custody to March 2 for a trial at Exeter Crown Court.
