A RURAL policing team gave the public the chance to name its newest vehicle for the tackling crime out in the sticks, and the winning name has been revealed.

Optimus Crime... that was the winning name, and it was all thanks to youngster Ruben, who can be seen pictured above with Optimus Crime.

A spokesman for Teignmouth and Dawlish Police said: 'Little legend Rueben is the winner of the tractor naming competition!

'We can now proudly present...Optimus Crime!

'Thank you to everyone who entered the competition, its a big thumbs up from us and Rueben.'
