Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of less than 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures are due to start this week:

A38, from 8pm May 9 to 6am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree A385 to Goodstone A383 (Ashburton) lane closures and convoy working for white lining.

A38, from 9pm May 9 to 6am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay B3352 entry slip road closed for white lining, Local access only to Caton Road, diversion, A38 eastbound to Goodstone A383 and return.

A38, from 9pm May 9 to 6am May 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Peartree A385 entry slip road closed for white lining, No access to Whistley Hill entry and exit slip, diversion, A38 westbound to Dartbridge A384 and return.

A38, from 9pm May 11 to 6am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Linhay B3352 entry slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 westbound to Peartree A385 and return.

A38, from 9pm May 11 to 6am May 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Goodstone exit slip road closed for white lining, diversion, A38 eastbound to Drumbridges A382 and return via minor roads through Bickington.

A30, from 8pm May 15 to 6am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 31 to 30 carriageway closure for road markings, diversion for A30 traffic via A377, Cowick Lane, Marsh Green Road West, Trusham Road, B3123 and A379, diversion for A38 traffic via A379.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
