Drivers in and around Teignbridge will have seven National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that all of them are only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• A30, from 9pm September 1 to 6am September 2, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 30 to junction 31 lane closure for electrical works.
• A30, from 8pm September 2 to 4am September 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Alphington - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A38, from 7pm September 3 to 6am September 4, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Clay Lane exit slip closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works, diversion via - A38, B3344, B3193.
• A38, from 7pm September 4 to 6am September 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 eastbound, Chudleigh Knighton exit slip road lane closure for Devon County Council works.
• A30, from 8pm September 9 to 4am September 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Fingle Glen to Alphington - lane closure for barrier/fence safety repairs.
• A38, from 7pm September 12 to 6am September 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A38 westbound, Linhay exit slip closure for carriageway reconstruction/renewal works, diversion via - A38 westbound to Peartree, junction and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
