RESIDENTS in Bovey Tracey and Heathfield are being invited to attend the town council’s annual town meeting next week.

The meeting will take place on Monday, March 23 at 6.30pm at the Riverside Community Centre.

The event is an opportunity to hear updates from councillors, as well as various local organisations, including Bovey Tracey Swimming Pool, Bovey Paradiso and many more besides.

The winners of this year’s Community Awards will also be revealed at the meeting.

There will be refreshments available, namely coffee and cake.

Bovey Tracey Parish Council was formed in 1896 after the largest reshuffle of local government for many years.

And in 1974 it became Bovey Tracey Town Council.
