EVENTS to celebrate the Coronation continue in Dawlish today as part of the Big Help Out.

Despite the wet weather forecast, the town council organised programme for today is going ahead. 

A spokesman said: ‘It looks like it may be wet at times but it hasn't dampened our spirits,

‘Bring out your umbrella for our final day of celebrations.’

Events run on the Lawn from 11am to 5pm with free face painting, Dawlish WI will be serving refreshments in the marquee.

More than 50 stalls have been booked for a street market.

And in the theme of today’s celebration of volunteering, the Refreshers Fair will feature more than 20 local organisations and charities offering opportunities to get involved in the community. 

Music will be providing by Teignmouth and Dawlish Rock Choir and there will be Punch and Judy during the day. 

The final singalong will be in the marquee from 7pm.
