THE Newton Abbot Neighbourhood Team are once again supporting the national Sceptre week of police action against knives.

This week, there is another opportunity for communities across Teignbridge, including Newton Abbot, to surrender any unwanted or illegal bladed items to police.

Perhaps you have knives, swords or other bladed items that have been inherited, collected or found when clearing spaces, and have been wondering how to dispose of them.

Operation Spectre gives you an ideal opportunity to safely remove them from circulation in the knowledge they cannot find there way onto the streets of Teignbridge.
