POLICE are appealing for information in connection with a report of theft of a dumper and an auger from Heathfield.

The equipment was stolen from a yard of a premises in the area of Heathfield Industrial Estate.

Entry was gained to the yard by force, the orange and grey dumper and blue hydraulic auger/hole borer were stolen sometime between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday, February 7.

A spokesperson for Devon & Cornwall Police said: ‘Please can those that have similar machinery be wary of this and review security.
