POLICE are appealing for the public’s assistance to locate a 39-year-old wanted man from Devon.

Luke Down is wanted in connection with reports of stalking and an assault.

Down has links to Exeter, but is currently believed to be frequenting the Exmouth area, Devon & Cornwall Police say.

He is described as a white male, 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with hazel eyes and brown/grey short straight hair, often going unshaven.

A spokesperson for the force said: ‘Efforts are ongoing to locate Down and we are now appealing for members of the public to contact us with any information or sightings.
