POLICE in Ashburton had a busy week dealing with a variety of incidents, including seizing samurai swords, counterfeit currency and much more besides.
Members of the Ashburton and Chudleigh Policing Team have had a varied week with a variety of incidents and tasks.
Officers executed two warrants for people who failed to attend court, seized counterfeit bank notes and engaged with the community at Newton Abbot Racecourse.
While on patrol in Heathfield, officers carried out a positive stop search under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
They also conducted an intervention home visit with a young person.
Officers also supported their colleagues in Teignmouth with anti-social behaviour patrols.
A spokesperson for the team said: ‘Your neighbourhood team remains committed to tackling crime, supporting those in need and being visible in the community’.
