POLICE were called to a Newton Abbot park today following concern for the welfare of woman.

Officers were called just after 11.30am today, Wednesday, May 14 to Courtenay Park.

This was following a report of a concern for the welfare of woman.

The woman was found to be unwell in Courtenay Park.

‘The ambulance service also attended, and she was left in the care of health professionals’ a spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said.
