THE Christmas lead up has been a busy time of the year for Newton Abbot Young Farmers members.

Over the past couple of weekend members have taken part in county socials and competitions as well as preparing for our club charity entertainments performance to be held at the end of January.

Last Friday Members took part in county ice skating at the Plymouth Pavillions where many clubs came together for what will be the last skate at this rink for the annual young farmers social!

We then had members attend the county Christmas dances where three juniors attended the junior dance at Tedburn village hall and 18 seniors attending the seniors ball at Westpoint last Saturday night.

Leading up to this, on Thursday we had a team attend the county bowling competition at Exeter ten pin bowling alley.

The club is looking forward to celebrating the festive period with social events and fundraising!

On Saturday, January 7, we will be doing a charity Christmas tree collection, we are still taking orders for tree collections now so please get in touch!
