THERE’S still time for children in Newton Abbot to join this year’s Summer Book Quest at the town’s library.

The free reading challenge, which runs until September 12, is open to children aged four to 11-years-old and takes young readers on ‘The Mission to Wayfarer Island’.

It’s not too late to get involved, with plenty of time remaining for children to collect stickers as they work their way through the challenge.

Those who complete the quest can claim a medal and certificate to celebrate their achievement.

Families can pop into Newton Abbot Library to speak to staff, find out more and get started.

The quest offers a fun way for children to keep reading and enjoy new books over the summer holidays.
