A RAFT of new objections has been lodged following the submission of revised plans for more than 70 new homes on the eastern edge of Teignmouth.
However, the changes have prompted further comments and objections as the application continues to be considered by Teignbridge Council.
The development is being proposed as an entirely affordable housing scheme, with homes ranging from one to four bedrooms and a mix of social rent and shared ownership properties.
The application also includes open space, landscaping and associated infrastructure.
The site has previously attracted concerns over the impact of additional housing on Teignmouth's roads and already-stretched local services, including schools and healthcare.
The latest objections will now form part of the council's consideration of 24/01892/MAJ.
