A WARM welcome was given to more than 100 Bovey and Heathfield residents by Bovey Tracey Help Hub and the Riverside Community Centre.

Local clubs, organisations and associations promoted and shared their enthusiasm for local activities with residents (of all ages) and each other.

The doors were open to Bovey Library and the Information Centre, introducing this fabulous new building to the community.

Blessed with the sun, free refreshments and homemade cakes they were served with a chance to chat under the gazebos. Friends, new and old, caught up and took the time to find out what goes on in our town. A range of people came, including one couple who just moved to the town that morning!

20 local organisations appreciated the opportunity to network and chat to each other. The Help Hub gathered information on what people would like to see in their town with a hope to shape future events.
