A MAN was arrested following an incident near Newton Abbot’s Lloyds Bank this afternoon, Thursday.

Police in a van and an officer with a police dog were seen in the Courtenay Street area at around 3pm.

A man was arrested and led away by the police.

The police have been contacted for information.
