A MAN in his 70s was airlifted to hospital after a car overturned on the A38 near Heathfield on Sunday.
Emergency services were called to reports of the single-vehicle collision on the eastbound carriageway at around 11am on October 4.
The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance, where his injuries were assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
A female passenger in the car was also taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries, say Devon & Cornwall Police
The A38 was temporarily closed to allow the air ambulance to land, before being partially reopened.
The scene was handed over to highways just before 2.30pm.
