A MAN in his twenties has been arrested by police after a man was left with life-threatening injuries following a suspected stabbing in Exeter.
Devon & Cornwall Police were called to the Exwick area at around 6pm on Thursday, June 12, after a man was found seriously injured near the River Exe, off Station Road.
The man’s injuries were described as life-threatening by police, who said he had sustained a number of puncture wounds.
A man in his 20s had been arrested in connection with the incident and remains in custody.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the force, quoting log number 714 of 12 June.
The injured man was taken to Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital, before being transferred to Derriford.
