Kingsteignton Town Council are once again running the annual competition for their residents and businesses’ to enter their floral blooms, foliage or fruit and vegetable displays.

Open to all, the Kingsteignton in Bloom Competition offers a variety of categories to choose from, whether it’s just one container or basket or a group of them, or your whole garden or vegetable plot, there is something to suit everybody!

There are cups, certificates and prizes to be won by many, which will be presented at a local venue some time in August.

Judges will this year be visiting the gardens to consider the entries over two days – Friday, July 15, Saturday, July 16.

A schedule will be put together upon receipt of all entries so that participants know when to expect the judges.

Entries are welcomed from past entrants as well as new, so contact the town council to get your entry form.

You can email Carol Lakin, town clerk, on [email protected] or call 01626 364089.

Or you can get an entry form from the website at www.kingsteignton.gov.uk.

The deadline for entries to be submitted is by noon on Wednesday, July 6.
