A TEIGNBRIDGE library is calling for donations of winter coats as it joins a county-wide campaign to provide warm clothing for vulnerable people.

Newton Abbot Library has once again joined Julian House's 'Donate a Coat Campaign'.

Over the past few years, Willmott Dixon, a construction and property services company, has worked with Julian House, a charity that supports vulnerable and at-risk individuals, to sponsor and distribute coat rails to multiple libraries across Devon and called on the community to donate unwanted coats to their local participating library.

'Do you have warm winter clothing that needs a new home?' a spokesperson for Newton Abbot Library said.

'Consider donating unwanted items for our coat rail, and help a vulnerable person keep warm in the elements.

'Please head to the library desk with your donations - thank you!' the spokesperson added.
