AN animal charity is reminding people to put out bowls of water for wildlife as temperatures are expected to rise over the coming days.
ELM Wildlife has put out the plea ahead of the May bank holiday, when temperatures are expected to reach as high as 25 degrees in the South West.
The charity said: ‘Most of the animals that come to the centre are dehydrated.
‘This simple action could save a life’.
The charity says to use a shallow bowl of water, placed in the shade and replaced regularly.
ELM Wildlife began in 2018 and has since become one of the biggest animal rescue charities in Devon, operating from its rescue centre at Seale Hayne.
