LATE night shopping continues in Newton Abbot tonight (Wednesday) following last week’s successful Victorian Evening.

Natalie Hicks, the Events Co-ordinator for Newton Abbot Town Council, said: ‘A massive thankyou to everyone for coming out and putting in so much effort as the charity stalls looked very festive with a Victorian twist. We hope to see you all again on our next Wednesday late night shopping.’

There will be plenty more treats in store from 6pm to 8pm in the town.

Father Christmas will be there on his sleigh in front of the Clock Tower from 6pm to 8pm so you can get your Christmas requests in.

This comes ahead of the Dog Friendly Carol Service from noon on Saturday, December 11, in Wolborough Street, near Carpetright.

Lead by the Rev Gareth Regan, and in association with the Anglican churches of Newton Abbot, the open-air service will be held in aid of Animals in Distress.

All dogs and well behaved owners welcome.
