IT’S treat time at the Mid Devon Advertiser offices as we join in the Macmillan Cancer Support campaign by hosting our very own Coffee Morning.

Drop into our headquarters in Courtenay Street, Newton Abbot on Thursday October 6 from 11am where we will be welcoming you with cakes, drinks and lots of other delights.

And you can pick up a copy of one of our titles – the Mid Devon Advertiser, Teignmouth Post and Dawlish Gazette – at the same time.

Our baking skills, or not, can be put to the test with your help.

We are still finalising the details of the contents of the foodie feast we will be putting together but be sure to pop in and say hello.

We will be supporting the charity which helps people living with cancer and their families throughout Teignbridge.

If we can raise £237, that will pay for a Macmillan nurse for a whole day.

Everything we can raise will go towards helping the charity’s work providing medical, practical and emotional support.

In 2021, Macmillan raised more than £11 million.

The first Macmillan Coffee Morning took place in 1990 and since then, the charity has raised more than £290 million.

Any donations to our appeal will be very gratefully received and every little helps.
