A MAN has been remanded in custody charged with entering a Newton Abbot scrap metal yard with intent to steal.
Andrei Dumitru, 27, of Stevens Road, Dagenham, a Romanian national, is accused, jointly with Claudiu Necunosctu, of entering as a trespasser Newbury Scrap Metal yard in Newton Abbot on September 1 2019 with intent to steal.
Dumitru pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded in custody for trial at Exeter Crown Court.
