AN inquest has been opened today into the death of a Shaldon man.

Joe Robins, 45 of Ringmore House cottage in Shaldon, was found deceased at the property on July 4.

An inquest in Exeter was told London-born Joe was divorced and a shop retailer.

The Area Coroner Deborah Archer said the hearing will be adjourned for a full inquest to take place at a later date.
