FIREFIGHTERS from Buckfastleigh have released images of Tuesday’s house fire at Bigbury-on-Sea.
Fire crews from across Devon, including Buckfastleigh, Newton Abbot and Teignmouth, were called to the coastal village on April 14 following reports of a building on fire.
Eleven pumping appliances were mobilised to help supply water to the incident.

Water was shuttled to the scene from sources, including a private swimming pool, Devon & Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said.
Crews used water jets and breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire.
A drone was also used to search for hotspots.
A spokesperson for the service said: ‘The building was 100 per cent severely damaged by fire and was deemed structurally unsafe to enter’.
