ICYMI: Regatta and carnival went 'very well' say Teignmouth and Dawlish police

A BIT late to the party perhaps, but ensuring everyone is kept safe during an event such as a regatta or carnival can, for the police, be fraught with difficulty.

This was, however, not the case for Teignmouth and Dawlish Police.

'Both Teignmouth Regatta and Dawlish Carnival went very well this year' a spokesman for Teignmouth and Dawlish Police said.

'Hopefully everyone had as much of a good time as we did' the spokesman added.

The team supported their Assistant Chief Constable, Mr Mayhew, at the raft race and, elsewhere, met a very merry clown in Dawlish, who can be seen below.
