FIREFIGHTERS have released photos of yesterdays incident which saw a man rescued from a van after an incident on the A380.
Crew from Newton Abbot Fire Station and Teignmouth Fire Station were mobilised to reports of a 'persons reported trapped' RTC (Road Traffic Collision) yesterday, Wednesday, August 30.
The incident was located on the bridge above Hackney Marshes, between Warebarton roundabout and Penn Inn on the A380.
Upon arrival, the ambulance team confirmed one individual was still trapped within the vehicle.

The decision was then made to support the vehicle using V-struts to prevent movement of the van.
V-struts in place, the combined crew from Newton Abbot and Teigmouth set about managing the glass on the passenger door, which was achieved by breaking it in a controlled manner.
With the glass dealt with, the crew utilised battery-powered spreading equipment to separate the door from the vehicle; once this space had been made, the driver was able to be extricated by the ambulance service.
'The incident was dealt with swiftly, and the driver had been removed from the vehicle within a matter of minutes' a spokesman for Newton Abbot Fire Station said.
'All of the emergency services crews worked well together to rescue the individual, who thankfully only had minor injuries' the spokesman added.
