HIGHWEEK Village Hall’s annual Show Day is back for the first time since 2019.

A spokesman said: ‘After three years away we are pleased to welcome back the show. This year we’re celebrating 67 years of the show and 70 years of the hall itself.

‘There will be lots to enjoy: games, barbecue, cream teas, ice creams, face painter, exhibit hall, craft stalls, bees, a grand prize draw, tortoise racing, music, magician, and much more.’

The gates at Greenend at the top of Coombeshead Road will open at 2pm on Saturday, July 16.

All entries for the produce, arts and crafts show will be exhibited in the Village Hall. Entries should be in the hall by 10am for judging. The hall be be open again from 2pm. The auction will begin at 4pm.
