WITH 130 new people testing positive for Covid in Teignmouth yesterday (Wednesday), the district has seen a 5.4 per cent weekly rise in cases.
Between December 16 and 22, 723 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 5.4% compared to the previous seven days, according to the latest Government figures.

Deaths in Teignbridge
There was one death within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on December 22. Between December 16 and 22 there have been three deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test. This shows no change compared to the previous seven days.
