As we prepare to move into the Government’s next phase of ‘learning to live’ with Covid, 89 new people in Teignbridge had a confirmed positive test result reported on February 21.

The latest Government figures show that between February 15 and 21, 731 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -28.0% compared to the previous seven days.

There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in the district on February 21.

Between February 15 and 21 February, there have been two deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.

The latest figures from Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust show that there were 19 patients in hospital with coronavirus on February 15 and no-one on a mechanical ventilator.
