THE case numbers keep falling in Teignbridge but one person has died according to the latest government figures.

84 new people had a confirmed positive test result reported on February 25.

Between February 19 and 25, 565 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -33.2% compared to the previous seven days.

There was one death within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on February 25. Between February 19 and 25, there have been three deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test in Teignbridge.

The Torbay and South Devon NHS Foundation Trust reports there were 16 patients in hospital with coronavirus on February 22, with no-ne on a mechanical ventilator.
