THERE were 255 new people who received a confirmed positive test for Covid in Teignbridge on January 26.

The latest Government figures show that between January 20 and 26, 1,596 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows an increase of 24.7% compared to the previous seven days.

There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported in Teignbridge on January 26.

89,860 people in Teignbridge had been given a Booster or third dose by the end of January 25.
