THERE were 182 new people who had a confirmed positive test result reported in Teignbridge on January 12.

According to the latest Government figures Between January 6 and 12, 1,284 people had a confirmed positive test result. This shows a decrease of -13.4% compared to the previous seven days.

There were no deaths within 28 days of a positive test for coronavirus reported on January in Teignbridge.

Two people with coronavirus went into hospital on January 2.

Between December 27 and January 2, 37 went into hospital with coronavirus. This shows an increase of 236.4% compared to the previous 7 days.

There were 28 patients in hospital with coronavirus on January 4.

There was one coronavirus patient in hospital bed with a mechanical ventilator on January 4.
