DONATIONS have flooded in to a Dawlish project aimed at providing food support and reducing waste.

Harvest festivals have proved very fruitful for Dawlish Community Larder which has been inundated with produce.

A spokesman said: ‘A heartfelt thank you to everyone from our local churches who so generously contributed to this year’s Harvest Festival collections.

‘Your amazing generosity and kindness have helped to support the Dawlish Community Larder, providing food and essentials for people in our local area who need a helping hand and will bring hope and help to many individuals and families in our community.

‘It’s been wonderful to see our schools come together, showing care, teamwork, and community spirit in action.

‘You’ve shown what it means to share what we have and to look out for one another.

‘Your efforts have brought hope and happiness to many.’
