New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to seven of Teignbridge’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows – and it’s good news for them all.

The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 5: The Old Java Coffee House at 2 Den Road Teignmouth Devon; rated on March 28

• Rated 5: Woody's at Strand Chambers Queen Street Dawlish Devon; rated on March 27

• Rated 5: The Bay Tree at Units 1 & 3 Food Hall Market Street Newton Abbot Devon; rated on March 22

• Rated 5: The Old Library Restaurant at North Street Ashburton Devon; rated on March 20

Pubs, bars and nightclubs

And one rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
