A TEIGNBRIDGE fire station is looking for new places to conduct its training nights.

Dawlish Fire Station is on the lookout for spaces it can use for training scenarios - industrial buildings, vacant homes, basements, farm buildings and so on.

Training takes place on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, with a typical scenario involving the use of breathing apparatus gear to practise search and rescue techniques.

Also, fire-fighters will pitch ladders to various heights and shapes of buildings.

‘Please message us directly on Facebook and will get back to you’ a spokesperson for Dawlish Fire Station said.

‘Thank you’ the spokesperson added.
